Privacy Policy

VIDE Corporation respects the privacy of every individual who visits the VIDE Corporation website (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy outlines the information VIDE Corporation will collect, how we will use that information, with whom we will share that information, the steps that we take to protect that information and your options for accessing and changing that information.

Collection and Use of Information

In general, there are two types of information we collect about you: information that you submit to us and information that we passively collect about your visit to our site. You cannot access our Knowledge database, documentation, product demonstrations and brochures without registering. During the registration process, we collect personal information such as your email address (“Personal Information”). We may also passively collect information about you that is not personally identifiable (“Site Use Information”). Examples of this type of information include the type of Internet browser you are using, the type of computer operating system you are using, and the domain name of the Web site from which you linked to our Site. This Site Use Information is used for trends and statistics, but the individual user remains anonymous.

How We Use and With Whom We Share Personal Information

VIDE Corporation may use your Personal Information to establish a recognized user database for future log-in ease, to better understand the needs of our users, to improve our product and service offerings, to contact you about updates and to contact you about other products and services offered by VIDE Corporation that may be of interest to you. If you do not want your Personal Information collected, please do not register. We will only use Personal Information for these purposes. We will only keep your Personal Information as long as necessary to satisfy these purposes and for a reasonable time thereafter in compliance with applicable laws.

To assist us in providing you services, we may share your Personal Information with other companies and individuals who perform functions on our behalf. In the instances where we share Personal Information with third parties, we request that they keep this information confidential and only use it for the limited purposes for which we disclose it to them.

Additionally, we may also share your Personal Information with third parties in the following limited circumstances: requests from local, state or federal law enforcement officials; requests by any judicial, administrative or similar proceeding or order, such as subpoena; if required by law; in special circumstances, such as in response to a physical threat or perceived physical threat to any individual; and in the event that VIDE Corporation merges with another entity or substantially all of its assets related to the Site are acquired by another entity. Depending on the circumstances, VIDE Corporation may inform you if a disclosure of your Personal Information is made under one of these special circumstances, but VIDE Corporation is not under any obligation to do so.

Children

VIDE Corporation does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from individuals under thirteen years of age. If we become aware of the fact that we have inadvertently received personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of thirteen, we will delete that information from our existing files.

Cookies

A cookie (a string of information that is sent by a web site to be resident on your system’s hard drive or temporarily in your computer’s memory) will be sent to your Internet browser upon successful completion of registration. This allows the VIDE Corporation registration database to identify registered users and speed up the log in process. With most browsers, you can erase cookies from your computer hard drive, block all cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. Please refer to your browser instructions or help screen to learn more about these functions.

This Site contains links to third party sites that are not governed by the VIDE Corporation Privacy Policy or Terms of Use. Because these sites may collect information about you, we advise you to check their privacy policies. We disclaim all responsibility for the operation of such sites, including the information collection and use practices of such sites.

Security

To help protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the Personal Information under our control, we have taken steps to protect the security of information stored on our servers. Access to our secure servers is restricted to appropriate personnel. Please be aware that no security program is foolproof. You must accept all risks associated with any data transmission, including the risk that your Personal Information may be intercepted in transit.
